Museo ng Lahing Pilipino (Museum of Filipino Heritage)
THE MUSEUM
The Philippine Center has two events venue, namely the Kalayaan Hall, which is located on the ground floor and adjacent to the lobby, and the Sentro Rizal – Museo ng Lahing Pilipino, which is on the 5th floor of the building.
The Museum showcases the Philippine culture and heritage. It is home to permanent exhibition pieces, such as woodwork depicting the Philippine history, national costumes, artefacts, and sculptures, among others.
The latest addition to the Museum is two of Fernando Amorsolo’s masterpieces. Fernando Amorsolo is the very first National Artist of the Philippines.
The Museum measures 2,096 square feet and can accommodate up to 49 people.
