The Kalayaan (Freedom) Hall

The elegant Kalayaan (Tagalog for freedom) Hall has a towering ceiling height of more than 20 feet. It measures about 2,750 square feet with a capacity of up to 100 people. The original renaissance/baroque ornate design of the ceiling and columns were restored to its 1916 original architect’s design by a team of restoration experts.

The Kalayaan Hall’s original elaborate ceiling is adorned with clusters of capiz (mother of pearl) chandeliers which are handmade in the Philippines.

Sentro Rizal - Museo ng Lahing Pilipino (Museum of Philippine heritage)

The Museo ng Lahing Pilipino (Tagalog for Museum of Filipino Heritage) showcases the Philippine culture and heritage. It is home to permanent exhibition pieces, such as woodwork depicting the Philippine history, national costumes, artefacts, and sculptures, among others.

The latest addition to the Museum is two of Fernando Amorsolo’s masterpieces. Fernando Amorsolo is the very first National Artist of the Philippines.

The Museum measures 2,096 square feet and can accommodate up to 49 people.
